Branan Field-Chaffee Road Construction

Two segments of the Branan Filed-Chaffee expressway (SR 23) are currently under construction.

February 2009 - February 2011
Add lanes and reconstruct interstate 10 from Interstate 295 to the Branan Field Chaffee Road Extension (7.4 miles) in 2008/09 at estimated $34 million. Nelson Bedenbaugh/project designer. (2132724)

Interstate 10 interchange at Marietta/Hammond
Currently scheduled for January 2012 - Late 2015
Reconstruction of the Marietta interchange with Interstate 10 is in the FDOT's Five Year work program, project #213301-2 . Design plans are approximately 60% complete (Phase II).

Interstate 10 from Lane Avenue to Stockton Street
April 2009 - April 2011
Rehabilitate concrete pavement on Interstate 10 between Lane Avenue and Stockton Street (4 miles) in 2008/09 at estimated $9.3 million. (2131132)

Interstate 10/Interstate 95 Interchange Reconstruction
February 15, 2005 - Spring 2011
The I-10/ I-95 Interchange from Stockton Street and the Fuller Warren Bridge to Adams Street is currently under construction. The project will not only increase the capacity of the Interchange but will also eliminate many of the current cross-lane weaving movements that drivers must negotiate as they use the current interchange. The purpose of an Interstate Master Plan is to guide the development of a multi-modal interstate system that will serve the transportation needs of people, provide for the efficient and effective movement of freight, and foster economic growth and development in the region as well as the state as a whole.

I-10 Master Plan East
February 2004 - Fall 2008
A master plan for interstate Highway 10 (I-10) from east of I-295 at Lane Avenue to Stockton Street is currently underway.
