Interstate 10 Master Plan East

Project Description

A master plan for interstate Highway 10 (I-10) from east of I-295 to Stockton Street was completed im February 2009. The purpose of an Interstate Master Plan is to guide the development of a multi-modal interstate system that will serve the transportation needs of people, provide for the efficient and effective movement of freight, and foster economic growth and development in the region as well as the state as a whole. The plan provides avenues for the enhancement of regional mobility, while minimizing other environmental impacts that might occur from construction.
